Covid 19 Updates
Departing /Arriving in Dubai.
Passengers must comply with the following:
- Passengers must have a valid COVID‑19 test certificate issued within 48 hours of the time of sample collection and scheduled flight departure.
- Only COVID‑19 PCR test reports from certified labs that issue a QR code linked to the original report will be accepted.
- Passengers must undergo COVID‑19 PCR testing on arrival in Dubai.
- If needed, Passengers must sign an indemnity document for a 10‑day home or hotel quarantine, starting from the day of arrival.
- Passengers must download the DXB COVID‑19 app upon arrival at Dubai airports and provide all the required information.
Test exemptions:
Covid 19 Tests & Certificates -
- UAE nationals are exempt from taking a COVID‑19 PCR test before departing to Dubai. They will be tested on arrival in Dubai.
- Children under the age of 12 and passengers who have a moderate or severe disability are exempt from taking a COVID‑19 PCR test.
- Moderate or severe disability includes neurological disorders and intellectual or developmental disabilities. For example: Acute spinal cord injury, Alzheimer’s disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Ataxia, Autism spectrum, Bell’s palsy, Brain tumours, Cerebral aneurysm, Cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy and seizures
- All other passengers, including those who are visually impaired, hearing impaired or physically challenged must hold a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate as per the requirements.
- There may be specific test exemptions in your country of origin and final destination.

Dubai Opens to Tourists

All visitors must take a PCR test for COVID-19 no more than 72 hours before departure and present the negative test certificate (in hardcopy) on arrival. Visitors must have a valid medical travel insurance and are also required to download COVID19 – DXB Smart App on IOS or Android and register their details on it. If you are transiting in Dubai, you are not required to present a COVID-19 PCR test certificate unless it is mandated by the country of origin or final destination.

Egypt lifts coronavirus restrictions from June 1. Egypt is optimistic about welcoming International visitors this year with numbers increasing steadily since last month to around half a million tourists a month. Egypt has completed vaccinating workers in all hotels in Southern Sinai and Red Sea provinces

Seychelles Travel Restrictions

Vaccinated visitors from the United Arab Emirates can enter Seychelles without restrictions.
Unvaccinated visitors from the United Arab Emirates need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result and/or quarantine to enter Seychelles. Visitors from the United Arab Emirates may need to quarantine for 6 days upon entering Seychelles. (check with our customer services please)

With some quarantine restrictios, Visitors from the United Arab Emirates must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Russia. (RETURN TRAVEL): Visitors returning from Russia are not required to quarantine upon entering the United Arab Emirates.

Visitors are required to have a negative PCR certificate from a testing laboratory, for a Covid-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before arrival. Proof of a negative test is not required however for all travelers that have completed their vaccination

Peru Travel Restrictions

All passengers arriving in Peru, irrespective of nationality and country of origin, have to show a molecular or antigen test with a negative result. If your test result is positive, you will have to self-isolate following the local authorities’ advice. Foreigners from India, South Africa or Brazil or who have stopped over in India, South Africa or Brazil must isolate by law for 14 calendar days upon arrival in Peru. Croatia is Ready to Welcome Vaccinated Travellers; All foreign travellers will be permitted entry to Croatia as long as they hold a vaccination certificate, provide a negative COVID-19 test result or prove that they have recovered from the virus.

Spain Travel Restrictions

Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 test taken at most 72 hours before arrival. Tests accepted are: PCR, RT-LAMP, RT-PCR and TMA. The test result must be in English, French, German, Spanish or accompanied by a certified Spanish translation. Passengers must complete an “FCS Health Control Form” at https://www.spth.gob.es/ This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

All travellers entering or transiting through Singapore, including Singapore citizens and permanent residents, are required to take a pre-departure Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test within 72 hours before their flight. This does not apply to children aged 6 and below. Short-term visitors with travel history to Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka within the last 21 days will not be allowed to enter Singapore. This also applies to those who had obtained prior approval for entry into Singapore.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand announced that Phuket will be the first destination in Thailand to reopen to vaccinated foreign visitors without quarantine requirements from July 1.

Authorities have revised the rules regarding mandatory COVID‑19 testing and home quarantine requirements for visitors and vaccinated passengers who are either UAE citizens or residents of the emirate.
